Cycling Out Autism

We recently held our Third Annual Cycling Out Autism bike ride. This year we had over 80 riders. In the past three years we have raised over $100,000 for the ABA Program at USF and the Sydney School in Tampa. They both treat autistic children of families who can't afford treatment through conventional means.

Steak and Corn Dinner

Our semi-annual "family friendly" social gathering with great food, conversation & ideas! It is usually held at a member's home. Can you guess what is on the menu?

Gift of Life

A gala held to raise funds for the Rotary Gift of Life project. The money goes to pay for kids from Central and South America and the Caribbean who are in need of a heart operation. This is a joint project with St. Joseph's hospital. They donate the surgery skills and operating room space, and we arrange to get the kids to Tampa for the operations. Without life-saving operations, most of these kids wouldn't live to see adulthood.

Annual Golf Tournament

Each year we select a charity to support from the proceeds of our golf tournament. This past year and foreseeable years ahead, we've selected an initiative in dire need to help children get an education in a formally known rebel focused part of the world. We are dedicated to help build a school in Sierra Leone in western Africa.
